LashSpot Spas: Wedding Season is Here and It’s the Best Season of All for the World of Beauty.

LashSpot Eyelash Extensions provide length and volume to instantly transform your eyes to the luscious, sexy and dramatic lashes you see on celebrities around the globe. The LashSpot Spa has yet to come across a bride that didn’t completely die over her eyelash extensions from LashSpto. Every client is so amazed at how effortlessly beautiful they made her on her big day.

Just as you prepare to find and fit the most flawless wedding dress months before the day, you need to properly plan to create the most beautiful and luxurious lashes. We want to share with you our timeline for perfect lashes. It’s got some serious steps but worth every one because you will completely transform your look, shave off 10 years from you age, and feel beautiful and glamorous for your big day.

LashSpot recommends a series of steps leading up to the most important day of your life for perfectly glamorous lashes.

Revitalash LashSpot suggests using Revitalash two months before your wedding. Revitalash is a remarkable lash growth serum that will create longer, thicker lashes and brows by stimulating the growth of your natural hair. You will apply the serum every evening, 7 days a week, 2 months before the wedding. After 6 weeks you will see a dramatic change in the length and thickness of your natural lashes.

Once you have a strong base to work with you are ready to come in for your bridal appointment 6-7 days before your wedding. This is typically a 3 to 3 ½ hour appointment. We want to have plenty of time before the wedding to ensure you do not have a reaction to any of the procedures performed and that we are able to achieve the most fabulous look for your lashes.

The Bridal Appointment We’ll start with an in depth consultation to get the overall look for your wedding. We have an extensive catalogue of lashes ranging in length and thickness, as well as the actual lash. LashSpot only uses cruelty free premium mink and silk lashes to create a more lavish look than a normal synthetic lash.

Lash Perm If your lashes are very straight and have no natural curl we will need to do a LashSpot lifting perm to curl and lift your lashes before applying the extensions.

Lash Tint A lash tint is applied to your natural lashes to dramatically darken your natural lash and create a sexy, sultry lash line.

Full Set Once the lashes are perfectly prepped we begin the most important procedure “the lash extensions.” Your LashSpot technician will apply individual extensions to your own natural lashes following your instruction on your desired look. Your technician will apply 70-90 lashes per eye. Once the technician is done applying your lashes, together you will carefully examine your lashes to ensure we’ve achieved the appearance you desired.
Brow Shape Your LashSpot Esthetician will shape your brows through waxing an creating a shape and arch using our brow shaping technique. Flawless brow can truly change the look of your face and transform your eyes to look softer and more youthful.

Follow up The Follow up appointment should be made 1-3 days before the wedding. We schedule the appointment for an hour and half to ensure every natural lash has an extension applied. We also use advanced techniques to add thickness and volume if you don’t have many natural lashes. Because our bridal appointments are scheduled with an additional 90 minutes to apply lashes, we are able to add on average 50-60 more lashes then a normal 2 hour full set appointment. The final result will be the most beautiful, voluminous lashes for the big day. Every bride should feel absolutely amazing on her wedding day.

It’s a process and it may seem like a lot of steps but it’s a service that will create such a beautiful transformation you will not believe your eyes. We at LashSpot feel that lashes are as important as having perfect hair for your wedding day. It’s an absolute must for bridal. We’ve never had a bride not say that wearing the lashes for their wedding was truly transforming.

Our bridal menu includes our full Bridal appointment as well as a la carte bridal services and Bachelorette pre-party soiree’s for all your girls to be primped and pampered for a fun night out on the town. How would you describe yourself?
Accommodating, flexible, patient, professional, fun, easy going, relational, courteous, respectful, diligent, dependable, and perceptive.

Tell us a little about your family.
I have been married for 30 years to my wife, Martha, and we have three adult children (2 sons and a daughter) who have all graduated from college and are still very single.

When did you begin your business?
I have been in the ministry for over 30 years and performing weddings since 1980. I started promoting myself as a wedding officiant under “A Moment To Cherish” since 2011.

What inspired you to start your business?
I love people, enjoy helping them and making them happy. Weddings, for me, are joyful and fun occasions and one of the things I really enjoy doing as a minister. I have a high regard for marriage and want to help those who want to be married by an ordained minister to be able to do so.

What has been your sweetest success story?
I am now starting to marry the children of the parents that I have married!! (I’m really not that old…HONEST!! :o )

How do you prioritize time with your family?
I limit the number of weekends I perform weddings so that my wife and I can have a full weekend a month to get away and be together. We also enjoy a once a week “Date Night” together. With my three children being grown adults, I have scheduled one week for each child and during that week I will take a day or night to have a “date” alone with each child just to be with them and see how they are doing.

Where do you see yourself in 5yrs?
Living in Orange County and continuing to serve God by serving others…through performing weddings and any other way God leads me.

What was your most memorable wedding? Why?
Wow…they are all special! Two come to mind. One was a cross-cultural Vietnamese/Christian wedding that was very interesting! The wedding customs of the Vietnamese family were very celebrative and colorful. The roasted pig on the dinning table as I performed the wedding was different for me…but boy did it taste GREAT!!

The second one was when I was younger, the church receptionist received a call from a bride wanting to get married and asked who the lightest minister on staff was. She forwarded the call to me. Turns out that they wanted a hot-air balloon wedding and there was a weight limit. I did the wedding and it was one of the most exciting experiences I have had! Especially when we “touched down”! The winds were starting to blow pretty hard and the balloon basket tipped over! Suffice it to say…we all got pretty close!

Wedding Vendors: Permission to Pin on Pinterest Requested

As you may already know, Pinterest is all of the rage and one of the hottest and fastest-growing Social Media sites out there right now.  Mashable reports that it is one of the leading referral traffic sources in many different categories.  Read Mashable’s report here.

With all good things, it is always important to take time to pause, sit back, and reflect on the good and bad of the situation. Same goes for Pinterest. There is word spreading that Pinterest “may” violate copyright infringement laws.  You can read a post regarding the copyright concerns here.

Stop! Read Pinterest Terms of Service here!

I know none of us want to see ourselves in court defending ourselves over our “pins”. I certainly do not want to be involved in a tangled web of lawsuits. Therefore, I have created this Permission to Pin Request form so that I can continue to pin on our OC Wedding Vendors’ Pinterest boards.

Before you make your decision, I recommend that you also read My Date with Ben Silbermman – Following Up and Drying My Tears about the lawyer’s telephone call with Pinterest Founder, Ben Silbermman, after he read her post titled ”Why I Tearfully Deleted My Pinterest Inspiration Boards.

As a way to bring new traffic to your site, if I am creating a new pin from your website, I always put a link source to the originating site in the description and the image will always link back to your site. Caveat, if I am repinning, 99% of the time, I will try to verify that the original pin links back to the original site before repinning. If it does not, I will create a new pin for that image with the link.

If you are a blogger, wedding vendor, person, or own a website that you would like me to consider pinning from, please fill out the form below.  If you are unsure if you are a good fit or not, take a look at all of my boards, and if you see a board that fits your site, please fill out the form below.

You can also put this Permission to Pin button on your website.

Thank you so much for helping me keep pinning!
